This classic Greek dish is a signature dish for Galini taverna. Chef Achmed is an expert at make this dish. Its light and full of flavor. He starts with small individual pots, then starts with smoking the egg plant. He part boils Russets potatoes, then slices them thinly. The first layer is placed on the bottom of the pot, followed by smoked eggplant. Now its time for the meat ground lamb with beef cooked with herbs and spices, layered on top of the eggplant, followed by another layer of egg plant. Now it's time for the bechemel sauce and loads of Parmesan. The Chef now places it into the oven and waits for it to turn a golden brown.
